CRCI kicked off its expansion into Panama by co-hosting a two-day accredited GCP training program with Promedica CR.  

The twenty -five participants enjoyed seminars from international speakers including CarlosFreitas, President of Promedica CR;

Dr. Walter Brown, CEO of CRCI; Dr. Diana Valencia, Director of Clinical Operations for Siplas; and Dr. Ruth DeLeon member El Gorgas (National Regulatory Authority in Panama).  Hence, we have more than twenty well-trained Panamanian PIs, representing virtually every therapeutic area.  

Dr. Alberto Tello, certified in Allergy and Clinical Immunology as well as Pediatrics, is the director of CRC-Panama.  He works in five hospitals in three regions.  Moreover, Dr.Tello has proved very effective at expediting the regulatory review and approval process. Centrally located in the Latin American region, Panama boasts modern infrastructure including a) an international airport that has become a major hub, b) good roads, and  c) high speed internet service.  In addition, the concentration of races in Panama which include Latino, Asian, European and Indigenous results in a diversity of genetic predisposition to indications.
